I cherished my time at Guest House Pura Vida, where Jorge and Pamela welcomed me like family. The communal kitchen was immaculate, and the scenic balcony offered breathtaking mountain views. I also enjoyed delightful interactions with fellow travelers, enriching my stay.
Road to the guest house was uneven.

Clean, comfortable room with great AC. Close proximity to Manuel Antonio's beaches makes it an ideal base.
The ground floor noise is a bit much, with footsteps from above and some late-night commotion. Additionally, neighboring roosters and dogs contribute to an irregular symphony of sounds at night.

Couple Perfect Escape
Jorge and his wife were so helpful. They really took the time to chat and made us feel welcome! The open kitchen was such a nice touch, fresh coffee every morning and fruits to start the day right! ! We were even able to stay an extra day because we were enjoying it that much.
It wasn’t expensive, but still a bit on the higher side.

We had a fantastic time visiting some stunning beaches nearby, which were only a short bus ride away. The place had plenty of helpful tips from the hosts, allowing us to explore lesser-known spots that really made our family holiday special. Plus, the coffee was a bonus every morning!
My kids wished for a bit more space in the common areas.

Jorge and Pamela created a warm atmosphere, always engaging with guests and making me feel at home. The kitchen was spotless and well-equipped—it was a joy cooking and sharing meals with fellow travelers. However, the location was a bit tricky to find, and some noise from nearby roosters at night disrupted sleep. Overall, a memorable experience with welcoming hosts that enhanced my journey.

The Budget Triple Room was super comfy with clean beds and great AC. It was noisy at night though since we were on the ground floor, heard footsteps above and roosters crowing outside. But the shared kitchen and lounge were really nice for hanging out with other travelers.

Couple's Oasis
Staying here was like a breath of fresh air in our travels. We had many easy and warm interactions with other guests, which made the communal area feel like a cozy home base, not just a hotel. Plus, I can't forget how there was a tree where macaws would visit, making mornings feel magical.
It wasn't the most budget-friendly, but it was worth every penny.
